How can Soldo miss a game and then Hawkins who was not in the contest, run towards a opposition player with a raise his forearm?
It stinks.

Shoulders become base of head/neck in a ridiculous ‘crackdown’. But now what is effectively a forearm (and very close to a fist) is the ‘inside of the wrist’. What utter *smile*.
I’ll give it to Hawkins in that he tried to pull out of it and looked immediately sorry for connecting. Fair enough. That’s careless. Very similar post-contact reaction to Soldo in fact. However the impact to the players who received contact were quite different. Worpel bounced straight up. Dawson was clearly hurt and stayed down for a while. A hit to the head is a hit to the head, is it not?
Nice one MD Jazz for posting the guidelines for review. Where is the consideration for impact in these collisions?
It really is a joke.
Christian is leaving himself wide open for a civil suit. Some of the potential damage he has let through to the keeper is setting a standard - particularly for Geelong players it seems - that will really hurt someone. And absolutely outrageous for SHocking to come out and lambast Soldo while this letting off of other players goes on blatantly for all to see. (And again - slow down the footage super slow of Soldo and I doubt he actually connected. Worpel pulled his head back out of the way. Hawkins connected and connected good)
How is this crap allowed to exist?
Simple its the AFL, and its UNPROFESSIONAL in many many areas. To expand on this how can foxtel have vision of Mayne form collingwood getting fingers to the ball, BUT the actual organisation DOESNT have this technology... its laughable
Bit of outrage in the west for mcgoverns suspension. I reckon he was pretty stiff
I am surprised the MRO couldn't find a way to suspend a richmond player in the bye weekHaven't followed it, but it seemed at the time that Guelfi was propelled further than he otherwise might've been because he was caught off balance. Against McGovern was that it was late and unnecessary, and Guelfi was hurt. Would he still have been hurt if the chair wasn't there? I had less of a problem with the decision than a lot of others.
A decade ago I'd have been more than happy to see Walters suspended for a headbutt, however the AFL long ago removed 'dirty' from consideration. It was a little ridiculous to suspend him given the lack of force involved, as that is what they usually cite.
Certainly, Walters' was the worse "footy act" of the two, but these days the chief consideration is how badly the opponent was hurt.
Have pretty much given up speculating on the MRO/MRP/Tribunal unless it involves Richmond.
Gave that Guelfi bloke a fair shunt into the fence so under current rules n duty of care, I'm not surprised he copped a week.Bit of outrage in the west for mcgoverns suspension. I reckon he was pretty stiff

You can’t think when trying to make sense of this circus. It is a reactive, media driven nonsense with an administration that would require assistance to rub two sticks together.I thought if you left the ground and whacked someone in the head..... with a forearm. .. you're looking at a suspension .... (unless of course the company team is playing us this week!)
Soldo should improve his technique next time and remember to jump!
Don't think I'm allowed to link to the atrocious football liars site. .... so draw your own conclusions!
Love the way Cunnington plays but.........
He's up on his 4th striking charge in 16 weeks and cops a 5k fine...!
Ffs if he played for us he'd have already done 6 weeks by now.... corrupt!
