Assistant Coaches

Big loss. Should be matching the offer to ensure he stays.

I hope any replacement is not another mate of Hardwick's or ex Hawthorn player.

We need other perspectives and assistant coaches who will challenge group think.

Don't worry we still have Kent Kingley
And the bloke who couldn't get a kick in the 2010 GF.
It's all good

Big loss. Should be matching the offer to ensure he stays.

People in business at this level rarely leave for money, they leave because they want a new challenge or opportunity. So they won't stay if you match or even offer an increase on the offer.

Shush ya are not allowed to mention Bernie on PRE as it gave quite a few of members PTSD especially in 2016.

Even first half of 2017. If you need a good laugh, always worth revisiting threads around that time.

To quote WADA, it depends if Blake was a link in the chain or a strand in the rope. I'm counting on a strand in the rope.

What makes it worse is that he's leaving with 1 year remaining on his RFC contract.

This stinks.

Yep it's certainly odd that he's leaving with a year left on his contract. One would hope it's because he's taking a senior gig, otherwise you have to wonder.

No coincidence in the year he arrived at the club they won the flag and has been successful ever since.

Correct me if I’m wrong but assistant coach movements for the following year need to be locked away before the start of the finals? Truck leaving was announced around the same time last year.
thanks WT.. i had no idea

Like I said in the other thread this is an opportunity to get some new thinking into the club whilst still using Blake's IP.

Will be missed. Was in charge of ball movement, which proved crucial to our win in 17.

pfffffff. Its not that hard to move balls.

Mark Neeld could do ball movement.

If it was that easy why was our ball movement as slow as cold molasses before Blake arrived.

Thats been done to death. We had to play slow to learn to play fast.
