Preliminary Final Richmond v Port Melbourne

Good win. Really struggled in 2nd and 3rd quarters but dominated last quarter.

We need to teach our big men to hold their marks, and insist on improvement. The number they get their hands on it and don't bring the ball down is pathetic, except CCJ who's no so bad.

Must say, I reckon Ayres is underselling himself. Should get back to AFL coaching by now. He looks like a ready made veteran in coaching.

I think this was the turning point. When these guys saw Zipps post slagging them off, they all lifted, hence the win. Good on you Zips.

He's applied for every available job for the past 20 years. Hardly a shrinking violet old Ayresy.

Good win, Balta huge in the last. Menadue clearly best with 26 touches, 3 goals and a couple of assists. Weller was nice and tough, Eggs and Garth composed down back, Pickett creative while being tagged. KMac, Naish, Moore and Markov all lifted in the last.

Only downside is that Aarts will likely miss the GF as the player he hit looks to have a suspected broken cheekbone

Silver lining is that Silvestro will deservedly get a game. Or maybe not, could be Stack in.
