Great to hear Dimma talking so excitedly about RCD and Ross. I regard RCD as similar to Cripps. Cripps played only 3 AFL games over his 1st 2 seasons whilst growing into his body, then boom he hit the AFL in year 3 and hasn't looked back.

That's interesting. Didn't realise that. Just assumed Cripps was a fixture in the team from year 1.

I can't remember for sure but I think there was a broken leg in there somewhere too which may also have impacted it, but obviousl you aren't out for 2 years with a broken leg

Yeah it rings a bell that he had injury issues early in his career.

If RCD turns out anything like Cripps what a boon for us :D

Not quite right. Cripps was recruited in 2013 national draft, debuted in Round 4 in 2014 (17 disposals) then fractured his leg Round 5 and only played 1 more AFL game for the season. He played 20 games in 2015 his second year averaging almost 24 disposals and 14 contested possies a game. You knew right then he was a star.

exciting but still happy for him to blossom in the seniors 2021-2022.. he will get opportunities before that but just a pup. Ross-Stack-Graham-RCD ...Next decade in the middle looks very handy.

Cant see him in the team until he getting the pill 20-25 times a game. 14 disposals isnt going to cut it.

not sure about this, stats dont need to be that high.

Graham, for example is allowed to play getting much less of the ball. Depends how well RCD applies pressure, bursts from stoppages, limits his opponent, tackles.

Not sure RCD will ever average 20-25 touches, never has in his junior career

Has shown enough improvement for his 2nd preseason.
Hardwick loves him and he will get games this year.
Explosive bursts out of the middle to look foward to.

agree Niko. The new tigers approach is not to count disposals. Compare 2017-2019 to 2016 overall team numbers are down and all our mids are down in personal disposals. Nowadays we dont give a rats if you have heaps of dinky kicks, or if we lose the contested possession count. Its the winning games that we count :clap2

Too big I reckon, be interested to know what his body composition numbers are.

Seems to be carrying extra kgs well IMO, check out the power in his Caboose and legs. One Paddy Cripps is 93 kgs.
Will probably shed a few kgs through attrition as the season wears on.

Fagan is still trying to work out how his side lost twice to the Tigers ...
