Scratch match v Dees

Marlion Pickett from RFC site.

"Played half the game in the midfield and half the game down back. He laid eight tackles, his pressure around the ball was his biggest highlight. He had some really unbelievable passages of play, finding a teammate by foot either coming out of the back half or coming through the midfield."

What's with the club playing everyone off half back?

Ross, Picket and I also read Turner as well. The first two need to be played in the guts and Turner is our up and down wingman.

Hope he returns and plays on ball and slays them.

It was 13 a side, with 4 in the middle and 5 at each end, with no wings.

You can't take Clarke's summary's seriously.
According to him everyone played well, but we LOST.
Clarke should allow me to do the player ratings.
I will straighten them up
Seems to be a trend with our VFL reports even when we were a rabble everyone was written up as a star

The previous development coach (forget who) used to say "needs to work more on this" but X Clarke just seems to give the good news...

The Coach used to do that which is great, tell us how it is & why they not getting a game etc. The guy who writes up the match reports writes everyone up as a star in a 10 goal loss.

Yeah just like Jack Dyer said to his players when coach:

"Go over there and pair up in threes."

X Clarke's description of Dow's game didn't seem as exciting as the thoughts of some other people's review. I am always wary of a 13 on 13 game. With much more space it increases the value of players who struggle a bit in tighter traffic. Looks like 6 changes this week so will be interesting to see who gets a gig.
