Trent Cotchin (Merged)

What was most striking about Cotch's game last Thursday was his sheer intensity at the contest. Really was a finals like tune up.
He was sending a message to the Weagles midfield.
The Supercoach nuffies at other clubs who bag him have no idea what he brings to our club. He plays such a sacrificial role & whilst he may not always win the ball, he always influences the contest & gets it going our way.
It's been said many times but the man is a contested brute who's built for finals footy, where legend is forged.
So long as his hammy holds together, we'll be unstoppable again in the form he's in.

And yet on The Couch, both Gaddy and Brown Nose describe Dangerfield as brutal.
Not in finals he’s not.

Is Duck playing or are they resting him till it really counts?
Who's getting angry with constant ass licking of Ablett at the hub.
Thats why Edwards gets me angry, no nice guy crap, first opportunity he should've head butted him and then put Hannebury into a figure 4.
I hate it when they're training together. Makes me sick.

not the robot Zips but you were right about Lost in Space...
LOLOLOL on the Lost in Space Idak 12. Anyone under 48 years of age would not understand the reference but mate, that is hilarious. Hopefully he moves faster than Idak but is just as effective.

A little thing, but I always look at the team huddles to see where players are.
I look to see if players hiding at the back because they are bored or maybe sooking.

Most times in huddles, senior and taller players are towards the outside, leaving the inside for newbies and shorties.

What a skipper Cotchin is.

Goes up a gear when needed.
Love seeing him front and square in the quarter/3 quarter time huddles when Hardwick is addressing the team.

A leader to emulate, on and off the field.

If Cotchin is in frame on my TV screen and the ball is loose, I immediately look for our outside runners to see who’ll soon be running towards goal.

Pretty much unbeatable in a contest when the ball is in dispute.

Cotch not required against Adelaide, 12 possessions only 39 fantasy points 64% TOG.

I shudder to think what that means for poor old Brisbane in the Qualifying :D
