5th best captain? Is that player votes? What numpties. You can mount a case for Pendlebury. He’s the longest serving Scum skipper and also games record holder. Seems a decent bloke but IMHO nowhere near the same level of captain as Cotchin.

To have him behind Jonas and Bont is just outright ignorance or blatant disrespect. *smile* off.

Selwood? He’s been a great player but his legend does precede him. It’s a bit like the automatic AA selections the Cats get every year. Everyone still seems to be living in 2010 instead of 2020. His record as captain pales in comparison to our champ’s.

My understanding is that cotch was quite outspoken when the hubs idea was floated to all the players of the afl and quite a lot disagreed with his stance.
