Changes for Semi

Caddy would have to be on the way now.
Can't see him ever getting back in best 22.

Interesting change.
Chol out deservedly.
Broad in looks better defensively. Especially as the Saints have King, Membrey & Marshall up forward.
Balta released as the relief ruck instead of Chol. It's a departure from what we've done all year but Mabs left us no choice.
Aarts unlucky but was poor last week.
Hope the footy dept. gets it right.

Could be Broady, Balta (if king goes into the ruck)
Also, with Broady in, Lynch may ruck more and Astbury in forward, Broady spend time in the back. We have options which is good. if we win, we need the options in the following weeks.

Saints INs: Battle - has a dodgy foot injury that he has struggled to overcome; Savage - only 1 game in '20 (but is a pretty good user). And Marsh - who they pinched from us. He might be 3rd tall back and relief ruck too?

I think broad will play in defence and Balta will be pinch hitting ruck and resting fwd

Oldest Tiger team since R6 1935. Another 3 days and it'd be the oldest since 1924.

Second most-experienced Tiger team ever, behind the 2001 SF team (132.5 games).
heading over a cliff like the Hawks?

And if memory is correct played in their win against us earlier this year and acquitted himself well? Or have I got it wrong. (Marsh )

Also could be Balta with Broad going back
possibly when Nank needs a rest after a goal is kicked... Broad comes on and goes to Baltas man in the backline for the centre bounce... then Balta takes the centre bounce and then rolls back to his backline role as soon as possible... Broad only rucks around the ground; without centre bounce duties....

Dual premiership player Broad has earned his first senior call-up since Round 15, after strong scrimmage match form playing a variety of roles including on the wing and as a relief ruck.

Surprised Saints didn’t call up Ryan Abbott, this is why they got him. Means Marshall plays predominant ruck which is good for us as it keeps him away from playing forward.

Means Battle or Marsh play as second ruck up against our second ruck Broady. Good match ups for us.

Good inclusions. Broad has always given us more flexibility and saints have plenty of med/small fwds which we don’t want Short or Houli anywhere near.
