Bully called this bloke as our man a year out from his draft. And was adamant he was a forward. He looked bloody natural running onto that Baker kick. Genuine swing man. Mind you, the cue to swing with him wraps around the block.
I remember jokingly asking Bully who was his “Balta” in the draft , he gave a glowing wrap on Noah

What a great lesson that Rd 11 game against Port was for him. He did get a bit of help from a better midfield this game but he played Dixon differently. And used his body to get Charlie under the ball (Rance was a king at this). And then marked it.

Leppa has done his magic with this guy too.

Balta’s hands were vice like with a couple of marks he took when others were struggling with chest marks - his marking reminds me of Stuart Loewe from St Kilda.

As I said earlier he is one of our 3 young B’s Amigos - Balta, Bolton and Baker

Could well be our 2nd Croat premiership player in consecutive years. Happy days.

Balta is going to be a long-term ripper for the RFC. Will have the capacity to turn a game as either a key backman or a key forward.
Just admire his effort this year and the strides he has made to cement his spot in the 22.
Will be so pleased to see a premiership medal around his neck next Saturday night.

I am still not sure what his best position will be in the future. He could play anywhere. Looked comfortable up forward for the few minutes he was up there.

Balta's learning (fast) the game down back which will stand him in good stead for his career.
Have this sense that one day he could be a powerhouse at CHF, but in the end wherever the MC choose to play him he will be a standout player for the Club.

It is exciting to watch him develop so quickly.

Balts was a bit unlucky with the mark and goal that Dixon got. He would have spoilt the mark if Nank hadn't blocked his run.
Has been a great replacement for Rance....... and by jingoes, he could be a good replacement for Riewoldt too.
A shame he didn't kick the goal when he went forward briefly.
Rozee obvious block on Nank clearing a path for Dixon. Very unlucky.

Swingmen are valuable and can win you games but few ever become legends of the game if they don’t own a position.
Silvani could swing forward at times but we didn’t see it with Scarlett, Carey, Jakovic or Rance.
I’m happy to see him develop into the 2nd best KPD of the modern era.
But I’m easy to please

Ive been steadfast in saying that he has been in the top handful of KPD this season. Towelled up the AA CHF last night. Towelled up the AA FF during the H&A season.

Yeah I am all in with Noah. Lets get that username update moving.

Yep. He is making that CHB positions his own. At 21 years old he could become one of the greats.

Word on the street has it than when going through airport security last night Noah was asked to empty his pockets, when he did Charlie Dixon appeared and Noah said "oh yeah, I forgot he was still in there".
