Perfect Ruckman in a Premiership Dynasty . No money wasted on ridiculous contract, never out of the game, hurts the opposition, looks after his little blokes , courageous in the air, great grab , lovely left peg.

ill take the big Nank over any other Ruck going around
And as a ruckman he's heading into his prime.

He's our very own Clark Keating or Brad Ottens. Rises to another level in finals.

With Soldo out for 2021 have to bring in support. Cannot have Nank play 22 games then expect heroics in September. He is absolute key to the next flag or three.

After last night I'm happy to see Balta spend the off season learning the second ruck role, and CCJ will come in for the second half of the season as well if needed. No need too waste a list spot on a short term ruckman now I don't think

I gave him votes. Thought his work at ground level was immense, laid some massive tackles but worked just as hard running down back.

Yep he was massive with his groundwork, but the thing that stood out for me was D50 stoppages. Completely nullified Hawkins in those ruck setups by doing everything he could to play in front. Was a great move by he and the coaching group and completely took their forward stoppage game away from them which is a big part of what they do.

Another who will always be introduced as "3 time Premiership ruckman". Well, at a minimum 3 times.

The “Big Rig” was an absolute colossus for his team.
Grit, determination, guts, strength, courage, manic and many more metaphors describe his contribution.
Not just his ruck work, but to follow up, tap, midge, tackle, mark, put his body into contests. He left nothing in the tank. He spent every last ounce. By geez he earned his pay packet.
No wonder our boys walk taller when he’s out there.
