We'd like to think so, but with Cameron coming in, and Backflip Diverdog, B!tch Duncan and the homeless guy still in their primes, and a host of Kitty Litter Park games, as long as they stay healthy they'll be up there again. As Gyps says, they're aiming for top 4 and then a Bradbury.

Be nice if they and St Kilda had a stinker next year (and to a lesser extent, Gold Coast). Having say picks 7, 18, 28, 36, 40 and 54 would be a brilliant hand, but you'd think it would be more like 14, 18, 30, 36, 42, 54 (before bids etc.).

Wanted to tease my Geelong mate about it. I know he is sitting at home fuming but he still won’t talk to me after we smacked them in the GF. Any cats supporter with half a brain will be getting a sinking feeling about now.

At best it's a top 10 pick and worst it's pick 18 before academy etc. We can't lose because next year's draft should be stronger than this year.
With 2 round 1, 2 round 2 and 2 round 3 picks we are also perfectly placed to replace Cotchin or Riewoldt if they retire with a ready made, very good player.
