Round 2 - Other Games

Saints should run the Godeez off the Dump.

The Deez rarely do well when the run on is against them, and the Saints run like men possessed all over the Dump as we well know.

I’m waiting for the day when a reigning premier, without swapping or trading draft picks, gets the number one pick simply because the player was at their academy. Imagine the outcry then
Why, it will be a long time before drinks when we have that academy kid. After all, this dynasty, given its long gestation, has a fair life ahead.

Make that GoDeez kick 3 straight and 3 points the margin.

Saints smart arsed for the last 6-8 minutes paid the price.

Small Saints forwards started cheating trying to sneak out the back and Demons defenders standing in front getting uncontested marks.

Dees 4 straight and in front.

Saints forward entries are terrible hitting up opposition defenders.

Brad Hill been a turnover merchant by foot tonight has killed a few Saints forward attacks with shiithouse kicks.

Surprising fightback by Dees. Taken lead back after 3g down.
Saints started trying to play millionaires footy and cheating in their forward half.

That is a chink in their armour, Gresham, Lonie, Billings, Higgins, Butler all dangerous when the Saints have the run on but once the momentum swung and they needed pressure applied they were nowhere to be seen.

Is Butler and Higgins playing?
Gawn is dominating the ruck against a battling 2nd gamer and the Saints dont have enough inside players to even it up.

Steele and Seb Ross and not much help pretty much up against Oliver, Viney, Jones, Petracca, and Brayshaw is where the Demons have wrested the control back.

Higgins 5 touches 1 tackle

Butler 4 touches 0 tackles.

There's a lesson here to night so far, which the Tigers also exposed in the S?F last year.

Beat up the Saints in the clinches and they are in strife.

Let them run at will they will pile on quick goals.

Good speech from Plugger in the Saints rooms, even mentioned us with Spud as coach. Hard to believe he's done a Warney and fully trimmed down.
