Pick 29: Shai Bolton

They're young blokes, getting paid lots, I understand the issues with going out but they should be able to go out without this sort of crap.

I just hope they got the idiot who insulted Rioli's GF and throw the book at him. No-one has the right to just grab anyone on the rear end, it is this sort of crap women (let's face it, this happens to women) just shouldn't have to put up with.

Sounds to me like they were responding to a f***wit and what are you going to do?

I'd also be asking why the nightclub didn't control this quicker, although I suspect it all happened in maybe a minute or two.

Crap for Shai, hope it heals well and doesn't affect him and that Dan is ok along with both their girlfriends/partners.

FFS this is so frustrating, the 1970s were 50 years ago why does this crap still happen?

Mind you, I'm more than willing to blame the umps, I want to know all of their movements on the night, was any of them within 10KM of the nightclub??

Even if he is Identified and charged he no doubt would only get a slap on the wrist, if that.
Should be charged with not only sexual harrassment but unprovoked attack causing bodily harm.
Won't happen though, of that I am almost sure.
 
Surprised more details haven't come out. There must have been a truckload of witnesses

Yeah because another bloke slapping your GF on the arse is a reflection of the culture at our club. Also good to know that sticking up for your GF and being punched in the face is also a reflection on the culture of your club.

What Parrot is inferring is that he would let someone be inappropriate towards women in his life and accept it. Says more about him IMO.

Saw the Hun at a cafe this morning, massive headline about a nightclub brawl all over the front page. What a disgusting distortion of events as they have been reported.

Buying that rag just supports anti-Richmond reporting.

I agree entirely. But obviously RFC sells a lot of papers for them. Plus all the fans of other clubs wanting to see us crumble away from being such a threat.

Bad news cops far more attention than good strangely, hence the distortion and story-twisting. That's the Murdoch media especially.

This season is replicating last year except for brooke going to a day spa and a couple of kebabs.

remember thinking last year how sweet it will be to win it and stick it up the media and the rest of the comp

reckon it'll be even sweeter this year.

we just have to weather the storm and scrap a few wins before the bye

time for players like Kmac, Marlion, Graham, Rioli, Tom, George, Ross, Baker, Broad etc to step up and lead the club through this.

We can do this.

Just got an email from the Superstore with the great high flying Shai... some real high and lowlights in a matter of days.

Hope he can get back quickly.

Yep, a whole 25 gm of grass.
Given the BS that he's been put through by ASADA I'm not surprised he wants a little help.
Probably a career ending move though.

I'd like to think that what is "Disturbing" is that a young woman can't attend a nightclub without getting molested but the media have probably found something else to be "Disturbed" about
