Agree. Most of these places also offer memberships and have security personnel and video taping. If he can be identified he/ they should be prosecuted. We called out the online threats against Grimes last year, and that's being dealt with in the courts. This should be no different.
Just got an email from the Superstore with the great high flying Shai... some real high and lowlights in a matter of days.
Hope he can get back quickly.
Yeah should have said his dog bit him, or a golf ball hit him. After this, he is a certainty to stay.
Had lunch with an ex AFL player from early 2000’s today and I quote “This happened once a week back in the day, most blokes would wait for training Tuesday and claim it happened in the first drill.” Then went on to outline a all in brawl while on a footy trip in Surfers Paradise.
Sometimes doing the right thing doesn’t pay off.
Yeh, what happens now is pretty tame. Worked with a 70/80's 200 game AFL player who had some ripping end of season trip stories. The overseas ones often involved the local constabulary at some point. After this, he is a certainty to stay.

"Don't shoot the fat one!"The overseas ones often involved the local constabulary at some point.
Bad news, that'll be his AFL career done you'd reckon.
Or more to the story.Rioli not pressing charges was an invitation to the AFL to step in.
Maybe the brazen offender has unsavoury connections?
Agreed Large Son Of Bull, its unfortunate.Therein lies the challenge and sacrifice for these young guys. They are elite athletes but their girlfriends usually aren't. Their best mates usually aren't. Their families usually aren't.
Your girlfriend and your mates want to go to a nightclub like any 22 year old kid does, they don't want to have a few drinks around the fire in the backyard, or head home before Cinderella.
So you either miss out on your mates or the only people you socialise with are your work mates. It's an area I really feel for young players in.

Who needs money when you need to live like that?I heard one coach address some first and second year players once, and he said when you think about heading out on the drink or doing something with your mates that isn't good for your footy, ask yourself if it is worth a minimum of 3 million dollars, because that's about the difference in what you'll earn from a two year AFL career and a 10 year one.
I thought that was a good way to illustrate the sacrifice and reward of the system.
Even for Bolton his broken wrist has probably cost him 50 to 100 grand and that's before any impact on the offers he gets next.
