Fresh details emerge after ‘inappropriate’ act sparks AFL stars’ fight”

According to the Herald Sun, fellow Richmond player Mabior Chol was also at the venue celebrating the birthday of Bolton’s partner, and so was Geelong pair Quinton Narkle and Esava Ratugolea. There is no suggestion they did anything wrong.

Are the AFL examining De Goey’s sexual assault charges? What possible reason is there for them to stick their beaks into this?

Referencing Dane Swan is funny . Suggest google Dane . Was on 13 assault charges back in his playing days and many a run in with his club . And let’s don’t forget in recent years the driving offences and “ video case “ . Think I will pass with Dane
I’m just bitter no females want to video me having sex with them.
Sounds like you are too

Shai Bolton set to re-sign at Richmond despite big offers from West Coast and Fremantle

West Coast and Fremantle have put big offers to Tiger Shai Bolton after a scintillating start to 2021. Here’s how much he could pocket.

Jon Ralph and Michael Warner

West Coast and Fremantle have been told to give up their chase for high-flying Tigers star Shai Bolton given his loyalty to his teammates at Punt Road.
Bolton and teammate Daniel Rioli have declined to press charges over the nightclub brawl that left the 22-year-old West Australian with a fractured wrist.
Tigers chief executive Brendon Gale said on Tuesday Bolton’s incident would not affect a new deal, with the quicksilver mid-forward out of contract at the end of 2021.

The West Australian clubs will now shift their focus elsewhere after being informed by his manager Ralph Carr he was happy at Tigerland.
Carr told the Herald Sun in March his client “would stay”, but rivals would have offered him upwards of $800,000 a year given his line-breaking, game-winning ability.

Get in. It's incredible how two days after the club stands by him, this comes out.

In Benny & Dimma we trust.

lol at CIS nine news

Love how we're not buckling to the media outrage.

We're sticking behind our players as we did last year in the Kebabgate and Cholgate incidents. The media (and some on here) wanted sackings but we gave them the middle finger.

Dane Swan on twitter tonight:

How Richmond handled the blue over the weekend is a big reason why players want to play for em, no one wants to leave and Just one of the many reasons they have been so successful In recently. Players don’t have to always be punished to appease the filthy masses that crave it.

Succincted it. I am in awe.

Exactly right. Amazing that even after 3 from 4 flags, we're still labelled as the dumb club by these media cumdunts.

All credit to Patrick Dangerfield for sticking up for our two boys.
A class act from him so thanks.
Will the perp be charged or named?

No cause our players decided to not press chargers - to get them charged in court which would most likely result in a fine at best or warning at worst is probably not worth the effort so I understand.

This is something the AFLPA should do - collect the evidence and then throw the book at those who antagonisEd our players so that they still get charged without our players having to front the court, wear the financial risk and further public exposure.

Don't you need the victim to make a statement so charges can be filed though? I don't think a third party can have someone charged on another's behalf, can they?

I'm no officer of the law so could be wrong here, but from my understanding after Dusty's chopstick-gate saga its not essential that the victim presses charges. If there is enough evidence a crime was committed then Vic Pol will charge the perpetrator - assuming the crime is serious enough to warrant their time though.
