David Teague

Musta got on the cheap.

Whats he gunna tell Jack & Co. that Jack & Co do not know !!.
Develop a new strategy and a method of training it in conjunction with the forwards he has at his disposal then constantly refine it. Specifically he can work with MRj and the other young forwards to teach them the craft.

It's worth noting that Teague was the Crows fwd line Coach in '16 & '17 when they were #1 for scoring in both yrs. It's an area we need to be better at & we have the right guy to sort it. In '17 they scored 247 more pts than next best across H&A #GoTiges!

That's absolutely not true. (Teague's role, not that Brendon is a good bloke!)
100% guaranteed. Bet you all the money you have that he turned the players against Bolton
Don’t let the facts get in the way of a good argument now
Carlton are a rabble of a footy club .
Teague desire to coach his own team at elite levels was his downfall burning many people along the way . Karma bus ran over him and Liddle who is a very ordinary individual. Carlton are a rabble for a reason . . You can work it out from there . You can friend people and then back stab them to climb the ladder . Let’s hope it works out for him at Punt Rd and he has learnt by his mistakes , otherwise it will be his last club . Still flaggasted why Fly and Leppa aren’t at punt rd . Many on this forum have met and know both . Two quality people gone . Mmmmmmm

Welcome David Tigue

First challenge is to knock all the rough edges off Tommy Lynch just like you did with Harry McKay. Get the niggly crap out of his game and help him fulfil his potential by winning a Coleman or two.

Ego and desire may have got the better of him , hopefully he sees Dimma as the long term coach and he just works at redirecting his assistant coaching career

and we put him thru the Richmond Mam program to detox him

Nothing against Teague, but him coming to Richmond just proves how worthless assistant coaches are.
Im over clubs over spending on assistant coaches if it wasn't for Clarkson and Hardwick 90% of them would be washing dishes at Nandos.
Have a look at Leppisch, he was worthless 2 years ago and all of sudden he signing big deals to join Collingwood. Short memories people, what happened when he coached Brisbane?
Same with Crazy Voss.
I would prefer a Hardwick or Clarkson with just 1 assistant.
Not like that photo of the Essendon coaching group it was ridiculous.
Hardwick turns *smile* to gold.

Having good people around Dimma lessens the need for him to do everything. That was one of the key takeaways from 2016.

The more Dimma can do the people things, the better footy we play. Getting Teague is a great get. Keeping Kingsley is a huge bonus.

More quality football people we have the better. Quality, not quantity.

And here's hoping Balmey stays.

Let's just keep him away from defence, where Carlton were *smile*.

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good yarn.

It was Caracalla Leppisch and McRae who changed the direction of our game plan late 2016 and set us on the path to three premierships.

Hardwick needs good tactical assistants to manage the game plan, this year is ample proof of that.

Is that the same assistant who (Kingsley) is hot property?

Is that the same assistant that has missed out on the senior gigs available this year, maybe luke warm is a better analogy.

I dunno if he’s any good or not, or what he’ll bring to Richmond, but it’s funny watching PRE’enders go from calling him a dud head coach at the Beyond Blues to being a good get now that he’s at Richmond.

Intrigue With The Teague !!
