The Blair "Which?" Project

So apparently someone "woke Hartley up" and told him trade week was happening.

So he pulled something out of the bag. No not ^^^^^ that one.

Patience was a virtue, and whilst trade week still not done, I think he needs some credit for his list management so far.

I'd be making sure that we keep this guy under contract.

Incredible bit of business by Blair considering the circumstances.

Has put us in a position where we now have 3 1st round picks, and effectively 6 2nd round picks, over the next 2 years.

A bounty of draft capital that lends itself to an enormous amount of flexibility.

All while making the team stronger next year.

Chol and CCJ would not have played bar injuries', while Tarrant will be a key player round 1.

Cause I am too lazy to work it all out, where did all those extra 1st and 2nd round picks come from?

Higgins was the second rounder and Markov the third.

Then on draft night when it rolled around to our pick, they rang Geelong and traded their first round pick for Geelong’s future first. I guess they didn’t like who they were choosing from at that point.

Some of the posting about trade week so far has reminded me of a match day thread .
It’s always better to wait until the trade period is actually done before making judgements.
A lot of panic trading gets done at the last minute as well. With our picks we have a great opportunity to pick up something in pick upgrades or someone in a really good deal next week.

The ol match day threads are dead set embarrassing :nono though in saying that some of the come from behind wins are quite entertaining:)).

Had a look at big footy the other day , ffs that’s everything thats wrong with social media , Surley they must have a rule that posters have to be under 15 years of age . It certainly proves we have just as many flog barrackers as any other club.

Sorry not sorry

Agree, Big footy is a no for me, seriously bad.

I very rarely follow match day threads live on here but I do read them back sometimes. It is very entertaining

There’s one poster who claims his bed wetting, sky is falling, negative posting on match day actually inspired the team in these come from behind wins.

Cant we do a Carlton and pay 105.1% of our cap to get Mitchell or Omeara in?
Pick 15 would do it.
Mitchell thinks he is in 2004 and will grab Buddy Roughhead and Lewis in the first 20.
My preference would be pick 7 SonyTv,
Pick 15 Omeara or Mitchell
Pick 26 Van Hoogenband
Pick 27 Bozo
Pick 28 Williams

As feral as King Kong can get, he’s actually provided some great insights into the drafting threads.
And he makes me laugh so no ignore button for me.
Zips the same. Can do your head in and makes you laugh at the same time.
Part of the colour of the site. Just wish he’d quit bagging Rance. And our recruiters.
But you know he won’t
