Hawks just gave away Ceglar for nothing and are apparently paying some of his salary.

They got brisbanes 3rd next year and gave their own 4th back. That might end up being only a 4 or 5 spot upgrade, yet they are paying his salary. Crazy town.
Now that's a fire sale. Gee, the cats did well w that. Think he will be better than Stanley.
Their team honestly could not look more boring with all the fossils. They must be rapt Stengle will add some youth.

Stengle looking good for the record of most clubs played for, hopefully he does well at the Cats and then gets poached, a 5 club journeyman has a nice aura of invincibility.

If Hobbs is off the board then I think we get either Johnson or Rachelle. Gibcus also a chance.

Daicos - Coll
Horne - Norf
Darcy - Dogs
Andrews - GWS
Hobbs - GC
Callaghan - Adelaide
Ward - Hawks
Freo - Johnson
Rich - Rachelle / Gibcus

GWS & GC will shape the top 10.

Erasmus might go to Freo with their first.

I think strategically that would be the wrong play. Better off grabbing the Goat and then trading up.
What’s your thoughts on Roberts? Seems to have fallen off the radar a bit in terms of first round picks.

Dream result. GCS invest and develop Hobbs and we come in four years down the track and take him off their hands. He is a Richmond supporter you know...

Gibcus seems so obvious to the Gold Coast. Seems to fill their most pressing need.

Value there with a latish pick, he's one guy I expect to be there if both Taylor & Butler are gone.

Just finished watching the Colts GF, Sheldrick keeps making a case too.

It seems logical but pick 3? Seems it would be better if they traded with Richmond but their reluctance indicates they want Hobbs. Who do you take Rachele vs Johnson?

bullus great input. You have talked me into Johnson.

a couple of times you said Dangerfield struggled in his early years. My recollection is that he started pretty good and he turned the fans attitude pretty quickly to accept him as a Victorian

Ok, so today I've devoted some time to Wanganeen-Milera, mostly impressed, probably worthy of a pick in the twenties but still very skinny & very outside. Lovely sidestep, shades of Shai, but not nearly as contested. Definitely a boom/bust player, too risky for pick 15 but if he slides out to the second round then no dramas.

He was puffing and panting in his first few years, building that tank took quite some time. Disposal average went from 6 to 13 in his second year, climbed to 15 in his 3rd and then 17 in his 4th, Breakout year was his fifth season, when he averaged 26 touches. This peaked at 31 which was his 9th season.

With the player trade period now done, that’s one of the system’s lever to package up picks now gone. Seemed like Blair was bracing people yesterday for the fact we might not get 38 and 40 away which wouldn’t be ideal. Could end up a blessing in disguise if it pans out like that, but only time will tell.

I thought he had a better start.

Judd and Rowell career starts were phenomemal
