Umpire farce - Getting worse by the minute!

Marlion ran too far? An ump clanger. Shocked everyone on and off the ground. They love paying frees against him and Dusty, any excuse. You have to wonder. That last not 15 in the backline was a shocker too, didn't matter and we ran the ball out with ease regardless, but it went 25m. Is Mansell the first player to be paid run too far out of FB? Apart from that I thought they were just generally poor. Which is par.

It was longer than their pass to number 16(?) in their attack.

15-22 with about 5 paid to them in the space of 5-10 minutes later in the last Q. Just ridiculous.

Spot on. They can’t pay them quick enough against us. Pickett took 9 steps. Amazing

Dimma hinted again about Duz's 50 against. Only way to do it in a presser, but the a-holes will probably find a new fine for coaches to pay.

Usual inconsistent effort, but I thought the frees were pretty even at 3/4 time and the umpires must have seen this and figured they wouldn't get paid unless they gave Collingwood their usual advantage. Anyone have stats on this? The last quarter frees looked very one sided.

At one stage it was 6-8 frees. We then had a run on and it was something like 12-9. One way street after that. They had another 13 frees to our 3.

Yeah forgot about the Pickett one.

That wasn’t too far.

The Mansell one. Didn’t they bring the rule in to have the FB give beyond the 50 to increase scoring ( Hocking’s rule ).

The one that got me was in the 2nd quarter.

Noble has the ball for them, is being tackled, McCreary comes over to try and give him a shepherd and absolutely clotheslines our defender (might have been Graham or Edwards but can't remember). Ump in control is 10m away staring straight at it, no decision. Ended up being paid by the out of zone umpire because the one 10m was either incompetent or plain cheating. It was probably the most obvious freekick of the day and yet that maggot refused to pay it until his colleague did.

I had a look at 3/4 time, 15-15. Then in the last it went 15-22. Worst thing was I had to sit next to the biggest Pies numptie supporter who just squealed for frees all afternoon and thought WE got the dream run.

and the 4 we didn't get in the last. Same as in BF, can't believe how blind these 'supporters' are.

Incredibly poor today. Standard
Just recall how Martin could not play on and snap at goal in the 3rd . He misses. Not one minute later, the Pies bloke plays on while the umpire directs our player on the mark.

Inconsistent? Yes. Over officiating? Yes.

Too many umpires? Yes!!!

Thanks.

So, the incompetent morons they employ as umpires reckon, all 3 of them that is, that Collingwood did not transgress the rules at all in the last quarter. Simply unbelievable, simply incompetent.

Collingwood supporters are massive coconuts.
They don't see the *smile* frees they get, but they boo and carry on when the opposition get one.
They are the only team in the comp that dive on the ball without any penalty.
I lost count how many In the backs we never got.
The Sheppard free kick to soldo was there.
The head high to dusty against Noble was there.
P.s I've seen players go close to hitting the 50 arc without bouncing the ball.
That umpire Giannasis despises us.

Pretty clear we were deliberately targeted on the running too far. Gilligan obviously saw something the week before he didn’t like.
