The shackles have been off the past fortnight but again I wonder if that's because he knows he doesn't have a future at Richmond. No surprise to see him overlooked this week.

He's been overlooked for Dow, Sonsie, then Dow again in recent weeks, Olds. A fair old kick in the teeth. Let's see which way he runs this week.

Considering Riley can kick and Dow seemingly cant do it to a level expected its a big kick in the teeth.

RCD is a difficult one..
the comparable is Jack Ross - who's started to look better and he's about the same age ..
I'd keep Dawkins around, but does he want to stay ?

I’ve wondered that as well. The last couple of games he has played really well.
I’ve always been a fan and I still rate him a better player than Dow for instance. I wonder whether he has tried too hard instead of just playing? Sometimes when I have watched him at a vfl level I think he is being too defensive and not using his offensive skills at all.
I think he can play, he has all the tools. That doesn’t mean he will ever be an AFL player of course, maybe he will never realise his potential.
Pity

Oh East Melbourne!
It’s a real shame it hasn’t all clicked because he has some genuine clearance winning ability. He also is a good kick for goal - an added bonus for a midfielder.

How long is long enough?
Give 1 more year?
Miss out on a kid staving to play the game
Lambert, Bulter, Milocheck, Castagna
Or put up with his inconsistently .
I'm pretty sure he has been told it's all over
Maybe they will Rookie him, but I doubt it.

They played him in seniors and and Dimma was so annoyed with him he spent the second half at full forward and had no influence there either. Papers stamped IMO. No seniors since then and even went missing at VFL until recently. Out the door.

If we're losing Caddy, Lambo, Parker, Jack, Shedda and I reckon at least Martyn will be gone, that's 6 out the door already and if Cotch goes that's 7, Aarts would be 8.

We should give him 1 more year, 2 years affected by Covid too.
