The main thing was lack of composure. Some terrible rushed disposals when he had more time to win up the situation.

Love Broady. Not his best game although still had a very solid year.
I wonder if his own internal pressure level felt higher for him just to try and compensate for Grimes' loss.

Hasn’t been the same since he injured his ankle and went down the race for a jab 3 weeks ago..
Suggest it’s impending his performance

Was terrible last night. Seemed to not have his brain in the game. I hope this is a once of, as he will be critical in our run to the finals.

Not Broady's best night, but he'll bounce back.

Has spent his whole football career proving people wrong.

Gold Coast (SE - QLD).
Two goals from really severe umpire interpretations.

Ran my eye over ports goal sheet and given you always budget Dixon for 2, I thing our defence deserved to sing the song

out of form. Two weeks to get some touch and confidence. Was not that long ago he was talked up in being at the top group of our B&F. With Grimes and Nick (I assume Vloss will miss a few weeks) he needs to embrace the responsibility and leadership he needs to show down back working with Gibcus, Miller and Balta... even Tattant from being in out system ~15 games.

Backline is very wobbly at the moment. To Tarrant's credit, he's the most secure looking tall backman that we have right now. Grimes, Vlaustin, Broad with injuries....its really de-stabalised things down back.

Port got a shot off on goal almost every time it went into our backline on Saturday night.

I thought Balta was ok against Port, apart from dropping a sitter. Has spent a lot of the season forward and injured, so probably has played many games alongside Tarrant. I reckon (am hopeful) that he and Taz can work well together. We are better with Balta down back.

I thought Balta was average. Dixon was all over him early, Balta quelled him ok thereafter, but made a bunch of errors in the process just the same. Dropped marks, basic turnovers by foot. His passing by foot to team mates is highly questionable at times.

Agree to disagree, he was a bit shaky early. Recovered well to play a solid game, 470 metres gained at 76%.

The experiment as a forward hasn't worked, needs to be allowed to settle back in as a defender.

I agree on him being a defender but he was shaky at times on Saturday.

That was more like the Broady we are used to today. Calm and efficient again
Yeah I thought he was better yesterday, a little bit shaky early.

His form has dropped a little, which seems to have coincided with Grimes being out.

What a gentleman. Left Hurley on his own to give him an opportunity for that final goal. Terrific man Mr Broad.

Has dropped off in form the last 3-4 rounds.
Still running around well but is more dumbly than usual in a contested situation.
