I’d be ultimately too pragmatic/soft-hearted to do that, but I agree with your approach. This sets all sorts of bad precedents. As well, it spells trouble for any future club he goes to (tho’ it may just be due to immaturity which he’ll grow out of).
Unfortunately North can’t do it. I could see him playing the mental health card/needing to be with family and then it being a bigger PR disaster for North. Really poor selection by North in my opinion. He may have been the best player, but it must of been obvious he was always going to back to SA. Take someone else and tell the fans why

If I'm North, I'm saying Pick 8, Ports F1 and Josh Sinn / Miles Bergman and give a 2nd back.
Port fans don't like it, but in 2018 they showed what you need to trade up that high. Between various trades they got Pick 5 (Rozee) and Sam Mayes (not worth much) and traded 11, 23, 30, 35 and 49 to do it. You'd think they need better than 1 pick around 5 to get JHF.

This is not a good look for him personally. I did have some sympathy along the lines of what JB has stated but this makes his motivations look worse.
Think there’s enough to suggest that JHF is as big a problem as Norf is in this particular situation.
If Port want the kid, then they have to be prepared to pay, and pay well. This is an argument for tying draftees to the club that pick them for more than 2 years. The player has to agree to abide by that, too, unless there are extenuating circumstances, which I don’t think JHF can claim.

GWS unlikely to trade in a ruck so Soldo must be going elsewhere and it's some other Kingsley favourite who is traded to GWS.
No worries, doing that but it doesn't operate in the background.. just wanted to make sure I was not the only knucklehead having issues. As for your comment/clip at the end ..... ?
