Training For 2023

Marlion and Shorty have trained fully

Soldo left ground early but wasn't in my team anyway.

Miller trained well in defence and now involved in ruck drills
Did Pickett train with the mids or did he still look like a wing? Or is it impossible to tell? I'd love to see him in the centre.

What players and coaches arent out there ? Heard we were managing a few non footy issues last week….
Didn't see any not out there but you can PM if you want a double check on a particular player. I wouldn't notice missing coaches.

Cheers

How did Ryan look today mate and whats your opinion , Is there any chance he is selected

Would love to see Marlion play, not sure we can play him on just one training session out of rehab.

Ryan looks great but I don't see him being selected round 1.

I still have Miller relief rucking and relieving in defense.

Just in relation to final defensive line-ups the last 2 training sessions you have had as our defensive locks:

Balta, Grimes, Tigga, Vlaustin, Rioli, Bakes, Broad playing on the lesser forwards, (even consisting of VFL players).

At the other end of the ground you have had Young, Miller & Biggie, playing on the A grade forwards of Lynch, Riewoldt and Dusty so the MC is having a really good look at who they think can fill the roles, going down to the wire it appears.

Guessing Broady is added to that Caesar.

Btw thanks again for the fantastic service you have provided to us mere wageearners again this pre season.

Thanks again Caesar. Great comeback after a couple of quiet weeks.
I was starting to worry you got a job. Or a girlfriend.
That would be a disaster for all of us

I just feel that we need to be able to stretch Carlton both defensively and in the Ruck with the mids we now have at our disposal

Miller will be needed in defence so that leaves just Jack & Tom as tall fowards
Wietering always does well on Tom and Jack will most likely get young or Have McGovern as 3rd up

Samson Ryan would just create that doubt and provide an unmatchable option for the swapping with Nank at times
4th umpires are going to favour the Tall fowards against the defenders and we need to capitalise on this imo
