What’s with the stupid woofing sound carlton fans make ?

Carlton fans started "woofing" way back when Val Perovic kicked the ball, giving the impression he was kicking it a long way. Then they did it for Any Christou in the 90s. It looks like it's been resurrected for Saad. Carlton fans think they are clever, everyone else thinks they are wankers. Compare to the "Yellow and Black" exclamation in our club song of which everyone is jealous.
