He was compared with Bakes in his draft profile I believe. I have been told by someone at the club that he is doing absolutely everything to improve. Doing everything plus more on the track and off it too.

It hasnt been widely reported he captained WA u18???

Genuinely unexpected. Clean, decisive with just that little bit of spunk. Very promising.

Last year he seemed very vanilla at VFL level. I had low expectations. But seems to have stepped up this year so far. Showed a bit of class yesterday too.

After the success with Steve Austin
We have rebuilt Steely in the off season Making him stronger faster and given him a footy brain with a vision far beyond that of any other AFL player

After yesterdays game he gets the foward role over the very dissapointing games ,once again ,pf MRJ and Jack graham

Auspicious starting in the #48 too. Following in the footsteps of Grimes, Lambert and Baker himself.
Very much in the mould of Baker and Lambert. Just needs more kms in the legs to get to their endurance levels.

This is the lad that got hit by lightening wasn't he? He found footy quiet late but from watching the highlights, it looks like he has caught up fast.

Yep he got struck.

Has anyone proposed Rod as a nickname?

Although he doesnt really need one

Finished top 10 in the 2km time trial this year so he’s going alright in that regard

Guys can I just say it’s “lightning”, not “lightening”. Because this is lightening… and I’m sure he wasn’t struck by that 😅

He hasn't been the same player since he did the pottery class. Come to think of it Naismith is in great nick too.

Could pottery be our new Emma Murray?
