Welcome Tom Brown

I had no idea or opinion on whether he was a good pick or not, however he delivered an inboard pass today that many players couldn’t execute.

Hope he just keeps growing.

Love that he's getting opportunity.
Always said he might go past Van Rooyen.

Not how they start their careers, but how they finish. Encouraging. Hope he keeps getting better as he adjusts to AFL.

I don't know if I was the first on the bandwagon, but wasn't many of us on there if I wasn't. Anyone else want to jump on?

Got him wrong. Beautiful disposal. The best I ve seen in a Tiger jumper for years. Low and flat. Ball sent out of defence like a misile.
Is he eligible for the rising star ?

Feel he has a shot if he does.

Absolutely he's eligible. Had a great game, fingers crossed he gets the nom this week.

The emergence of Brown should mean we can shift Short to a wing. We need more speed on the wings and better disposal. McIntosh tries his guts out but disposal is hit & miss while Pickett’s inconsistency and errors kill us.

Did we see? Did we see what he did today? And then did it again? And again, and again and again?

Going to be a very, very good player.

Did you see Short's kicking today?

Outmarked Membrey and Steele in separate contests like they were the rookies and he was Nick Vlastuin. Balance, composure, speed of thought, hand and foot to turn tricky situations into counter-attack. Hugely impressive.

Obviously been told to drill the *smile* out of that leather, consequences be damned.

Elite coaching at Richmond. Elite coaching that fosters confidence. 2024 isn’t about win/loss but building belief.

Reckon this boy knows he belongs.

His kicking is sublime. A joy to watch. Getting better in the air and in the contest also. Alot to like.

I did, but at least on the wing, he should be able to kick to advantage better than off half back. He is an experienced AFL player and former B&F winner after all.

Plus running ability and especially speed are keys on a wing. I’ve never thought of him as a particularly good defender at half back, more ball user (granted - he’s been poor this year). He needs something and we need something.

Composure under the pump is excellent n he's got a silk slipper to work with. Kid keeps this up for long n they'll tag him out of the back half. Can we please buy some more?
