Re: PLAYER OF THE YEAR votes- Round 1

3 votes to Dr. Pink (Nathan Brown)
2 votes to Krackouer... just magnificient
1 vote to Frawley (coaching staff) they did a magnificient job under so much media attention to get this team out there. (If not allowed this vote) then Ottens.
With great games from Cogs, Sugar, Richo.

Also great debut of Hartigan. Hyde stood up well and should get more of a run than Pettifer with a solid performance.

Honorable mentions to Otto, Krak, Cogs, Fiora, Rodan, Cambo.

Congrats to Gas and Campbell on return, and Harts and Morrison with first games for the RFC.

Also, biggest honorable mention for Hyde; 12 possessions, 7 marks, 2 clearances, and 3 tackles in just 38 minutes on the field  :). Sensational effort.

Joel, no clangers :). Congrats on 150th

Re: PLAYER OF THE YEAR votes- Round 1

3 - BROWN - Sensational first up game

2 - Johnston - far more damaging than Buckley

1 - Richo - Kept presenting

Big apology to Krak. Thought he was sensational and showed polish and poise in the midfield that has long been lacking. Possession numbers were good, but more importantly he didn't waste many. Great evasive and tackling skills. I hope those that have been bagging him on this site took notice.

Otto was great in the Ruck and created opportunities for our midfielders all night.

Thought Hyde showed enough in his limited game time and used the ball quite well.

Hartigan was matched up against one of the most dangerous forwards in the business and acquitted himself admirably for a first gamer. Showed he has the grunt that we need.

Out tackling was sensational on the night and we kept the pressure on them all night.

Fiora showed that he may finally take that next step.

Congratulations to the coaching staff for having the courage to give the young guys a go and some decent game time. They were justly rewarded on the night. Danny has now promised that we will see attacking football and it certainly showed we can reap the rewards on Friday night.

Buckley......well all the media were praising his efforts, but in my view he accumulated a lot of easy kicks in the back line and was no where near as damaging as Sugar. Overated IMHO.

Even thought Razor did ok down back eventhough he was not on a quality forward and would have struggled on Rocca.

Gas forced Tarrant up the field to gather a kick which negated any impact he had on the game.

Big thing was that we had 22 contributors on the night. Bring on the dees

Re: PLAYER OF THE YEAR votes- Round 1

3 - Browny

2- Richo

1 - Kraks

Sugar probably would get 3 if he could kick 30m kicks to Richo's chest as well he uses every delivery. Then again Richo would have had about 20 marks and 8 goals and would have to get 3. ??? ???

Special mentions to Fiona, Hyde, Bus Driver (just direct the hit-outs better) and Waynes World (every touch, like the skipper, is class).

Found it interesting that in the Sun they did not manage to fit Bus Driver in the best Richmond players ( with 28 hit-outs and a dozen touches) but still named Fraser second best for the Wobblers (10 hit-outs and 9 possessions). Just shows how much we annihilated that rabble.
