That’s the question some have. (He’s playing in possibly the best NAB League team). Can this Callaghan get his own ball ?

5 picks max. No doubt some picks will be packaged up for earlier picks and future picks.I read several articles when Naish got delisted, that Eggy also got delisted but haven't seen anything official, so guess he's still on the list.
I do however think that Egg and Garthwaite will be delisted. That will give us 6 picks I reckon we take 5 picks to the draft and leave one for PSD, mid-season draft
We could use all 6 picks but I guess it all depends if we snag dogs first pick, Norths pick 20 which could well give us 6 picks under pick 30
What are your thoughts on how many picks we may use? Go in and use them all, or leave one till later.
Got no real idea about the overall talent of the youngsters this year. Have read a couple of articles n heard some comments that the first 3 or 4 kids are premium?? Then there's a deep even pool of quality players up to about pick 40 or so.I read several articles when Naish got delisted, that Eggy also got delisted but haven't seen anything official, so guess he's still on the list.

Can we do what GWS have been doing and stocking up on pick in the next year, then we have a strong hand every draft?5 picks max. No doubt some picks will be packaged up for earlier picks and future picks.
List sizes were reduced to 42 plus upto 2 Cat B rookies and they are remaining the same for next season.List sizes were reduced from 47 to 44 for this season, I think they go back to 47 for next season.
I would do that with the Pies for sure. They need picks for Daicos this year, we swap say Pick 26 or 28 for their 2nd (hopefully 19) next year. Can we do what GWS have been doing and stocking up on pick in the next year, then we have a strong hand every draft?
Trade some 2nd rounds of 2nds or firsts next year?
Since we only have so many list spots this might be the best option
That would be the aim. For example someone like Collingwood who has literally no picks this year would be a club you could swap picks with for next year. But they might be a bit gun shy considering how this year has panned out.Can we do what GWS have been doing and stocking up on pick in the next year, then we have a strong hand every draft?

They have to do it for Daicos though. That would be the aim. For example someone like Collingwood who has literally no picks this year would be a club you could swap picks with for next year. But they might be a bit gun shy considering how this year has panned out.
I am assuming that Gold Coast and GWS have already said hi to youWas just thinking. Has there ever been a greater Draft hand than Hawthorn in 2004 with 2,5,7,21,26 ?
Nah exclude their fabrication. That’s obvious.I am assuming that Gold Coast and GWS have already said hi to you
Happy to ignore them generally but they always have a pocketful of picks.Nah exclude their fabrication. That’s obvious.
Good question Dell Computers. As there is every year, the clubs are negotiating on trade picks that involve guarantees about what club is gonna pick whom.Happy to ignore them generally but they always have a pocketful of picks.
The Hawks hand was ridiculously good.
But who do gws pick at 2 ?
If we get 3 or 4 then it's an important question. It must be either Callaghan or Gibcus
To put in context the acedemy side got SMASHED, big learning curve for the young blokes that day.*smile* 12 possessions off half back.
properly the easiest part of the ground to play these days.
What's our obsession with Smurfs and Half Backs/ forwards
One club built a dynasty, one club was like dynasty the TV show. Was just thinking. Has there ever been a greater Draft hand than Hawthorn in 2004 with 2,5,7,21,26 and us with 1, 4, 12, 16 and 20 ?
Well, in all reality, as it stands right now and ex of any deals for a Cerra or whatever, this is the biggest and most important Draft for us since 2004.One club built a dynasty, one club was like dynasty the TV show.
Shows how big a hand we are playing with this year, crucial draft.
Just have to keep reminding ourselves that we won 3 Premierships in 4 years since 2017 because we were so shyte then. One club built a dynasty, one club was like dynasty the TV show.
