2024 Draft Thread

Other than Vontae, I don't see the top-end quality of last year's draft. Vontae is at least as good as McKercher but then it falls off a bit. But it does run deep. Good year to have pick 1 and 4-5 more picks.
Mick Jager Bomb is as good as McKercher, I reckon Sims is better than any key position player in last years draft. Duursma doesn’t go top 5 in this years draft.

I reckon take out Reid and this crop is easily as good.

Jag looks like an itsy bitsy player. Not high damage. Reckon Smillie on his day could be damage. Jeez I wish I knew what Toce was thinking.

Id still be stoked with Jagga, but like spook suggested at 7-8.

Think hes the type to win a norm smith in an 80pt drubbing

This games alive and close last quarters are double draft points

Luke urquhart the revelation of the day for me

Tom gross >> josh smilie

Tom Gross trained with us. I am sure we are keeping close tabs on him.

I like the look of Smillie and he’s got better the longer the game has gone. Sims also.

Urquart, Champion, Gross all good.

Jaffa Smith’s size worries me a bit. WTF Jagga.

5-20 is a lottery. 8-13 feels right. Taking clunkers one on one inside 50 is invaluable.

Dattoli is so hungry, not for me.
A one two punch of a classy mid and say Sims would be the result I would like to see.

And then with our later picks stock up on mids.

William Hayes WA taken two jon brown like pack marks @181.

Not sure I’ve seen a bad word about him on here. I think he is a Jordan Ridley type.
Not bad word. But not talked about a potential top 5 pick.

But as you said this draft looks like it could go any way. It’s seems deep but even.
