A Short Conversation with Michael Roach

And especially when you get the end of the sentence wrong.

BTW, Lids,
How are the Centenary celebrations for your cricket warming up?

Brett Evans still playing for Narre Warren...

Michael Roach - my favourite Tiger in my youth. Wanted a #8 on the back of my duffle coat (but mum wouldn't let me)! The good ole days......... :help

Is Michael still working at that Holden dealership phantom?

Michael has his Life Insurance business, Michael Roach Insurance. He's in the same building as me, as is Brett Evans too.

You may have heard it advertised on SEN.
Have heard his advertising, would like to see him some involvement with the club but that appears unlikely.

So Roachy reckons it isn't the midfield, but the short defenders. Actually it's a criticism that has followed wallace from the Westies.

I still think it's the midfield, even though we really need a tall defender - but coggers return will be a huge boost.

Our thirds maybe, may be not.

Our seniors will remain in Longmuir, but the last couple of years we've spent time developing a very good bunch of teenagers.
Last year, half our Woolnough side were boys < 18yo.
We plan on bringing a new group of boys into our thirds this season.
We would prefer the boys to play at a level where they can be successful.
Whether that means that they remain in E grade or drop down a level will be decided by the CMCA.

Good luck with your season.

Ah yes, he's very keen.

I've cut him down to 2 regular games a weekend this year.
On top of that will probably be his Rep games too.

I've heard you've got a new captain/coach.

I thought this thread was about Michael Roach?? ;)

Who's Michael Roach?

Wasn't he the one we traded to Collingwood back in 1980?

I think Collingwood thought so, when they got Stephen Roach. ;)
