Surpassing Lillee will be a monumental achievement. He is the only bowler in Australia's top eight wicket-takers with a strike-rate under 50. Of the 27 men who have taken more than 350 Test wickets, only Dale Steyn, Waqar Younis and Malcolm Marshall have a better strike-rate than Starc.

Stokes fails against the Indian spinners again, out for a duck, he had a moral victory though, he lasted 6 balls, England 6/181.

Bairstow, Root and Stokes all out on the same score and all burning a review in the process. A very English hatrick.
Priceless.
Stokes LBW review was missing off, missing leg.....................hitting middle.

No wonder they don’t like DRS.

They clearly don’t understand how it works.

Stokes averaging 21 for the series and hasn't bowled a ball. If he's finished as a bowler you have a no.6 batsman who averages 35.

Kiwis in trouble in 2nd test. Ravindra with a shocking dismissal in last over before lunch chasing a wide one.

Another crap over rate, just 26 overs going to be bowled in a session.

Steve Smith. Out LBW but reviews when not playing a shot. Looked out live. Umpires call the result.

Not quite as bad as the Bairstow/Root/Stokes reviews but live it looked pretty plumb. Not sure why the batsman ever ask the non-striker about reviewing because they always end up reviewing. The stats would be pretty damning.

Smith's struggles continue.

Poms look like they are going to get a massive beating, they have lost interest. Can see them losing by an innnings and some change.

When are we going to call the Smith as opener a failed experiment? Gotta be soon.
It’s not looking good, one good knock. His scores as an opener: 12, 11*, 6, 91*, 31, 0, 11 @ 34 (or 14 if you remove the outlier of 91)

Let's see how Smith goes on not a greentop.

Shubman Gill coming of age in this series v England. Second ton for the series to go with a 91 and a matchwinning 52* last test. Quality player. Ideal no.3.
