Cricket

Meh. Jazzy Jaswal was out LB and got a life because the umpire made the wrong call. Then he clearly hits the ball and doesn't want to walk. Hopefully his karma is in the negative now.

I thought Rohit Sharma spoke really well
Good on him. Virat and Siraj have acted like flogs, players petulantly standing there disagreeing with the umpires and the Indian fans on social media are horrible, claiming Australia cheated.

Is Tim Lane paid by the BCCI?
He’s arguing hard for the Snicko result over the clear deflection we can all see from multiple camera angles.
And earlier he was having a sook about Kholi getting booed by the oz fans.
A lot of (not always Indian) journos are publicly very pro-BCCI (e.g. Ian Chappell) and I reckon it's because ultimately they know which side their bread is buttered.

He's a dinosaur. Get's more unlikeable the older he gets. That was clearly out. Obviously the angle of the edge and the fact it came off the face of the bat influenced the detectability. Clearly out.

How good is Test cricket! Nothing better in sport!

370,000 attended the match that went to the last hour. Bumrah, Cummins, Smith, Reddy, Jaiswal, Boland, Konstas!

Two incredible catches by Smith. Catches win matches and the Aussies caught everything, and India didn't.
Yeh, crucial, Marsh as well took two very good ones. The drop by Jaiswal that saved us being 7/94 was huge. Add Pant throwing his wicket away and Aust won the big moments.

How good is Pat!! Amazing cricketer/captain/winner as competitively fierce as they come.

They and the Indian cricket team have become very unlikeable. A nasty entitlement to them.
Kohli is just like an aussie cricketer from a different era. Dragged India up to be the powerhouse cricketing nation they are. Instilled the fight and attitude we now see. But he really shows a lack of gratitude or respect for the game at times.

Am still a fan though.

When people ask me am i cricket fan i always answer

'No, but every few years, a test captures my attention, and i become a temporary one'

This is that test

Funnily enough, its almost always australia v india.

On the couch with second coffee and ill be here until the second margarita.

(Apologies to the proper fans, but go india :peepwall)

Ill have a few technical questions today, so bear with me)

Question 1. Has justin Langer had a knock on the head?
I find Langer very difficult to listen to. He seems to really struggle to get his words out. He has done lots of martial arts and kick boxing at a high level. May have copped a few blows to the head. It would be sad if his speech patterns were caused by head knocks.

Khawaja's catch of Kohli was a beauty too.

Cummins is an all-time great.

Any game they lose, they claim the opposition cheated. They don’t handle losing well.
