Congrats to our esteemed President, Peggy O'Neal on winning an OA.

Richly deserved, not like a certain person who got a gong for saying sorry.

There were 1000 awards given this year which IMHO is a bit of a joke.

Surely they should be awarded on outstanding merit, not just because one is an actor with attitude.

Peggy falls into the merit category.

Having posted this, I am a bit chuffed I did not get a gong as a long time Tiger member.

Well that is good news, thank you for the post.

As for yourself, here's a gong to you then.

So you know though - "chuffed" = very pleased.

Correct there "Rabid." Wrong choice of words...should have been frustrated. Seem to miss out every year. Should have been a Magpie supporter, that might have worked.

There are a lot of people doing great things, I don’t have an issue with them being recognised. A doctor who admits to acting unlawfully is a grey area, though.

Yes, well done to Peggy. Perhaps her greatest achievement was standing by Hardwick when the board was under siege. She backed the right horse.

Bit of a shame she is not more visible when the club is getting screwed, though.

Never explain, never complain. Peggy does the former but not the latter and good on her.

Complaining is not in the Richmond DNA and nor should it be. We are above that.

One classy lady. Deserves hall of fame at Richmond too.

Yep. It'll happen one day.
Been a breath of fresh air to the Club and plays a great complementary role to Benny Gale.

Peggy is on One Plus One tonight. ABC 9:30pm I think.

Barrie Cassidy. ABC. Hopefully someone can transcribe for the uber righties as I can't see them watching it willingly.

Poor Barrie Cassidy must've struggled with this being the 1-eyed pie that he is!
Great reminder of how far we've come and what can be achieved when you put your ego to one side.
Lucky to have her I reckon.

Why is everyone leaving after 10 years?

All board members are limited to a certain number of years. It is designed to keep the Board fresh and new ideas and methods coming in.

The club management like CEO and coach don't have the same limits
