Hello everyone,

Its been a while, I was only here a short time after this site opened but now Im back, mainly because im so dissapointed its frightening!!

My stance on the whole matter is this: WE SUCK.

Quite simply we are not good enough and our list is not up to the standard to do much but make up the numbers and dissapoint us the fans.

My take on the things that are going on: REDEVELOP THE LIST AND STAFF.

The List

Trades:

Rory Hilton
Joel Bowden
Kayne Pettifer
Matthew Richardson

Seriously, they are about the only players i'll be willing to trade that would fetch anything at all, people who say trade Clinton King and Craig Biddiscombe dont know much about footy, no one will want those duds.

Joel Bowden has to go, his disposal is shocking, his decision making even worst, he will fetch a lot come trade time though, now is the time to get something in return, can anyone say the name Chris Judd?

Matthew Richardson, my all time favorite player and the soul of the Tigers, needs to go for the benefit of the team. Wayne Carey with a year out of the game and bad press fetched a couple of good picks why not Richo? The bulldogs are desperate for a tall forward and will finish probably last, fair swap? Also Patrick Bowden has been playing well lately hasnt he?

Rory Hilton was a top 3 pick by the Lions, came across and has shown some potential, we see him every week, lucky opposition teams dont, believe me he will be worth something come the trade period, what im not too sure but we should get a handy return.

Kayne Pettifer is a lost cause. He will not improve much to warrant him being on the list. But he was a top 10 pick just a little while ago and I remember a lot of teams being very keen on him at the time of the draft and other teams may feel they can turn him around. I dont expect too much but anything substantial, 2nd round pick?is worthwhile.

DELISTINGS

Matthew Rogers
Duncan Kellaway (retire)
Leon Cameron(retire)
Clinton King
Craig Biddiscombe
Bill Nicholls
Chris Hyde
Andrew Mills

Matthew Rogers has past his used by date, unfortunately, he is no longer fast enough, therefor it hampens his disposals and decision making because he is under pressure all of the time, a warrior for years, sad to see him go.

Duncan Kellaway, Warrior of the team, always gave 100% and risked his body for us, that was his downfall as injury has cut him down and he can no longer cut it at the top level. Goodbye Warrior.

Leon Cameron was a super trade decision by the Spud, he gave us very good service and was a fan favorite from game one, also sad to see him go but we have to let go and he has said it will be his last year, champion.

Clinton King, this is where im not gonna be so nice, he is useless and is a VFL player at best, no longer required, adios amigo!

Craig Biddiscombe, see ya later ginger pubes, never worthy and what the hell were we thinking with that contract we gave you, good golly

Bill Nicholls, a quick fix ploy that was never gonna work, Billy who??

Chris Hyde, we redrafted him why?? A poor poor mans Tivendale, simply not good enough.

Andrew Mills, an country footballer if ever I saw one, he'd be good to play for Moama then get stuck into the *smile* and go beat up some cops, not good enough here my friend!!

The situation:

Thats a lot of changes to make and I kept a couple of players for depth, as in squad rotation player who many will want to cut, Tim Fleming and Royce Vardy. They are handy types to bring in if the situation warrants it. Not in our best 22 but can be called up if injury happens and wont cost much.

With the changes made, there is plenty of room on the salary cap and a solid nucleus to build around, and particularly young too.

Kane Johnson
Brad Ottens
Mark Coughlan
Chris Newman
Greg Tivendale
Mark Chaffey

These would be the Young stars to build the team around, no relience on one in particular which is what you need.

We need to make changes and breath some life into the club, our focus should be on Speed and Skill in the draft but also a couple of big kids. Greg Miller I hope your scanning through this and if one of you want to send this to the club, by all means go ahead, we need changes, the time is now before it gets too late...I wonder what Terry Wallace is up to now?

PRESIDENT: Clinton Casey
CEO: Ian Campbell
Football Director: Greg Miller
Football Manager: Greg Hutchinson
Coach:Terry Wallace
Assistants: Wayne Brittain

That is my suggestion. Sorry about the long post.

agreed agreed agreed .. 'fool's gold' was what the first six weeks were .. We are an average, run of the mill side, made worse by the lack of leadership in Campbell's absence.

The only thing making this weekend get better is seeing Collingwood getting beaten at the 'g' .. They are imposters/pretenders like us .. ;D

By the way anyone watch the Brisbane/West Coast game today? Judd, five goals, absolute gun!

If we are willing to off load Joel Bowden and Matthew Richardson to West Coast I think they would take those 2 for Judd.

Or alternatively those two for Nathan Brown. I can't see us winning the flag with Richo, he is too much of a liability, even though he is a great player.

Terry Wallace and Nathan Brown are some what bumchums as well. So if we get Wallace as a coach, it might give Nathan Brown some more incentive to come over.

I'd like to know who was playing against Justin Murphy! 5 goals - c'mon! And how many times did Joel Bowden get the ball and blindly pass it to a Carlton player?
