The RFC quote ' we are heading in the right direction, structure is perfect and Frawley is a great coach'. Always hear players and officials talk positive on the media and TV. Does anyone have any real person to person contact with players, interested to know. PS no Butcher, neigbour or friend of a friend story please.

It would be interesting to hear if anyone has known players before they came to Richmond too.
The only one I've known as a kid growing up was Brodder, but he hardly qualifies for the topic of this thread.
Showing my age here, ha. The other one I went through school with was Ross Thornton who played for Fitzroy.
Neither have much influence on our current team though. Can't help you out there. ;D

Yeah Gordon's short as well. Don't think he plays footy at all.

Gordan did play Rugby but isnt sport minded like Davey. Davey's sister playes Basketball and toured the USA recently.... I do know David and a few other footballers from other clubs too.

I had Duncan Kellaway do some physio treatment on my back a few years ago saw him for six months, got to know a bit of gos too about Geisham etc.

That's interesting WJP. I don't know Dunc personally but the times I've spoken to him I've found his honesty refreshing.
He tells things as they are not as the club would wish him to. They are not always the same thing.

I worked with the late Don Gale - Brendan and Michael's dad, every Monday morning he would come into my office and we would have a chat also good for a bit of gossip on the club

Hmmm, 22 i know Stewie Leowe really well so i'm probably in a good postion to pick up some goss but if i talked footy with him i'd be ragging out on one of his mates.

To be honest i haven't talked a lot of footy with him. Usually talk of other things.

Know / have known heaps of other footballers but not any others as handy as Stewie for Richmond goss, other than Peter Cameron (umpire) who i haven't ran into for about 8 or 10 months.
