BTW it is now Lablett Island.

He's bought Lennon's and renamed the title.

Nope Lablett Lane is in Berwick.

Doesn't have that island Vibrancy.

one of our big improvers

would prefer if he didn't ask for it inside 50. kicks it like Wil Langford unfortunately

Tough to pluck that out Smokin. Was a dominant two way A grade mid performance.
Just saying Leysy. He still does the odd thing that brings him back to the pack. He should have kicked that goal even if it was on his left. Harsh maybe.

Agree. I gave my chair arm a punch after that one.

He's a B grade mid which is great because last year we struggled to have any. Lambert stepping up and adding Prestia and Caddy gives us gteat depth in the next rung down the mid rotations

I've another who's been too tough on him.
Last year that serious injury clearly knocked him about & I jumped off.
Still has a few flaws but the good is overriding them.
Saturday was clearly the best game I have seen him play.
He's taking his AFL game to another level this season.
Kudos to Kane.

One of the best things about Lambert is that not only is he know accumulating a lot of important disposals his defensive game is brilliant. Topped the Tigers on the weekend with 29 pressure acts. Next was Caddy with 28 and then it drops right down to 19 for Prestia and Butler.

I was wrong, i thought at best he was a small forward, good on him.

A small forward is one thing he never was, and the amount of time he was spending as a fwd was probably a large contributor to his lack of impact at times.

I didn't think he was a small forward either, I thought at best that was his ceiling, and I wasn't sure he'd reach that, I was wrong, good on him.

More than just earning his keep. Allows Cotchin, Martin, Prestia time to play the outside game at times. He's doing a lot of the grunt work. Playing to his strengths instead of trying to reinvent him. The bonus of having him at the coalface frees up a couple of others. Don't underestimate his role and form, it is a big bonus and benefits the team setups and rotations.

Yep. His form is another reason this year's game plan works.
