Ba, Humbug.

Duncan was OK, Vardy was quite presentable
in the first half at least, Nicholls looks like he's
injured again, Draga got a knock to the leg, but
came back on, Moore and Bidders were good,
McGrath didn't play, neither did Pickering nor Shir.
Saw Shulz away in the distance (at the other end).
Pettifer missed some gaols in the 3rd, but kept
presenting at least.

Flaherty and Steinfort were good as Coburg players.

Does anyone know what the fight was all about in the
second quarter - we where up the other end so we
didn't see much? Hope there's no reports.

And a blast to those damned umpires. The absolute
worst exhibition of crap umpiring we have seen for
this year.

How did Hyde and Mills go?

Mills went off injured early on. Dunno what was wrong.
Didn't see him again. (Unless he was hiding up the
other end of the gound).

Hyde was his 'usual' self - a bit slow, made some
poor decisions, but for Coburg? servicable.

DF reporting on his return from Proton Oval

Very disappointing performance from Coburg, and not alot to get excited about from a Richmond point of view

Hyde is too slow in his decision making, think he may require a tagging job, let a better player take him to the ball.

Biddiscombe was average at best

Vardy was ok across half forward, when the ball did get down there it was rushed in up and under, very hard to mark

Mills has done his hamstring again, spoke to him after the match, reckons he'll only miss one week

Nicholls is injured again too, had his hamstring strapped, but cant confirm the exact injury sorry

Shir and Pickering were absent, Shir was in the TAB at half time though

McGrath didnt play, saw some interesting things regarding Marty today, dont know if the coaching staff would be impressed with a certain habit he appears to have

Dragicevic played, was quiet early but worked into the game as it wore on

Moore was good. Presented well across half forward, I'd take a punt and promote him now

Schulz played in the backline, did ok

Pettifer did reasonably at full forward, but didnt convert his chances

As for the fight during the second quarter, nothing in it really, bit of a wrestle at a ball up, then a few more players got involved, just push and shove.

Pettifer and Shane Clayton were wrestling at one stage, two real hard nuts. HAHA
