I'm not sure everyone is clear on the moderated posting functions on this website.
We have an official warning function that is usually used if posters continue to ignore moderator requests. People can still post but the post needs to me approved by a moderator. The restriction automatically reduces a bit each day until it expires. Not sure but I think it goes down around 5% a day.
The other one is Sit In The Corner. Posters on that require moderator approval the same way but it doesn't have an automatic expiry. It is usually a last resort. If posters on it continue to abuse the mods or post in an unacceptable manner they can be blocked from posting altogether.
