Simmo survives. Eagles ferals must be going crazy.
Only because of the crazy-bad financial implications of the contract and sacking penalties. Coach contracts longer than 3 years without performance and get-out/ payout clauses are crazy.

Briggs has come from out of nowhere.
Came through the academy, was pick 34 in the draft.
Smashed the Aints in the ruck.
Only played nine games in the previous two seasons, 15 this year.
Not just dominating the ruck hit-outs, but averaging 7 clearances, elite level.

Yeah, been good to watch. His clearances are usually booming kicks to the forward line instantly putting the oppo defenders under pressure.

Hawthorn have delisted Emerson Jeka, Josh Morris and Irishman Fionn O’Hara. They’re going to lose a bit of their reserve height with Jeka and Kosi leaving.

The Mills news is staggering. Your captain, out for most of next year before pre-season starts.

Can't have it. Horrible.

Swan utility Callum Mills has seriously injured his shoulder in a 'Mad Monday' wrestle. Alcohol obviously played a part.
All for the team having fun but bloody hell you'd be filthy as a fan if it was your captain.

Always fuelled by alcohol. If Mad Monday was held at a Writers Festival or a yoga retreat this wouldn't happen!

Heard him being interviewed yesterday, when asked exactly how he did it he refused to answer (“it’s irrelevant “). So it was either something really stupid or he was having a fight with his teammate Jacob Konstanty. I’m guessing the latter.

Saw on Twitter the Eagles had the Vic Country boys in for a session with Liam Duggan & Luke Sheryl halfway through the year talking about how moving to Perth from Victoria was the best thing they ever did. How can the AFL allow that? Smart by the Eagles. And today they come out and slap down trade rumours that aren’t true. Small things but starting to show unity.

Clearly bad blood between Ginnivan and McStay.
Was McStay involved in part in informing on Ginnivan's drug use?
Clearly then it is revenge porn.
Would have been doubly humiliating for McStay given he missed the Grand Final.
The mainstream media is completely silent.
No word from Caro or Robbo.
