This year at our football club, there have been some changes made...... We have a new coach, new players and instead of trapped being "Trapped" at half-back, I am....... except I don't mind being trapped there. ;D
On this thread I and trapped will be posting what goes down at our football club and starting tomorrow we should post on it regularly, due to the fact that our first match is tomorrow. ;)

Sorry I'm late, but just got back from seeing
the mighty tiges beat the wee and poos!
Golly it was a funny match. They made more mistakes than
some of us. ;D

Today we had a practise match against an "A" grade team.
We are a "B" grade team and we were down in numbers.
Most of us had to play the full 4 quarters.
We lost by 22 points. 57 to 35. Gee I was knakered.
Haynes was right, I didn't play in the back line all day.
He played good. He beat 4 players in the backline.

True, I did beat 4 players on the wingy backline....... Twice!!!!!
But really Trapped was really good, I gave him 2 votes for our club.
 
Well done, boys.

The U/18s had a win. We beat Moonee Valley (U/18 A) by ten goals. The season proper starts this week.

Good luck guys,from someone who was trapped at CHB or most likely FB for 17 years!!

This is my first season of retirement....I miss it already :'(

Ivanhoe Amatuers FC

Had to wear bloody back n white stripes :doh
 
We might get down to 15 players!
One kid broke his finger at training, another two kids
have gone on holidays and another two kids are doughtful.
We have no bench! :'(

you in the score line. Avondale Hghts: 2-1, 2-2,2-3,2-5-17
Us:2-4, 8-4, 12-8, 16-8-104.
Once again I was trapped at half back. :'( For one
quarter I played in the forward line and kicked a goal.
Mr.HAyNe$ was great when he was on the ground.
 
Well done lads! It was really hot this morning before the change
came through. No wonder you chundered Mr. Hayne$ ;D I hope
you are feeling much better.

Are you sure you played Half-Back? I thought you played Full-Back.
Anyway, Trapped was great, enormous potential that kid has..... FOOTBALL GENIUS.
