With the effort Port Adelaide have put in, I reckon Richmond would of done better.

Greg Norman must be the motivation coach at Port. Choke, Choke, Choke

When Richmond played Port, the Port cheer squard chanted to us Richmond supporters "were in the finals", well everyone knew that Port would choke in the finals.

Choco got what he deserved.

I see those time wasting tactics they spent so much time working on at training a month back have really helped the Power in their finals campaign

Soo too did preparing themseleves for the Finals in round 19.

Choco has a big mouth - he should keep learn to keep it shut!
 
Choco was absolutely correct he did spend more time at Collingwood than Mick and that losing mentality has rubbed off. Malthouse never came down to his level during the week and totally outcoached him during the game. Malthouse comes across as a true professional and totally oozes confidence which has to rub off on the players. If only we had him instead of the vegetable that is there at the moment. :'(
 
dont get too excited about seeing tomorrows paper about port choking. its gunna have eddies big ugly mug on the back page and its gunna be Port Adelaide who?????

you gotta renmeber walster that malthaouses winning attitude comes from the team he played for, and chokeoes losing ways came from his time at eddywood.
so where did malthouse play his footy?
 
That is exactly what I am saying mickctiger......Malthouse came from the RFC winning era.
 
What's the culture like at Port Adelaide - will they accept yet another finals choke or are they happy to just make the finals?

Port players favourite fruit for the aftermatch rehab would have to be chokoes, theyre favourite plant would obviously be a strangler fig. ;D ;D ;D
 
All I can say is htat it is great. CAnt say Williams only came from mediocrity at Collingwood though. Remember he played with strugglers Brisbane too. HOwever he was involved with a lot of success with Port Adelaide Magpies in the SANFL so I dont thinhk Choco is totalyl to blame although alot of his moves were strange and he was outcoached.
 
The only real choking going on has been of Port's flawed game plan. The super-skilful target-hitting plan has time and again been found out under finals pressure. They certainly missed Francou and James - don't think they would have lost to the Swans with those two in the team, and things may have been different with a home prelim final.
Still, strike another finals win up for winning ugly! ;D
 
with players like shaun & peter burgoyne cockatoo-collins adam kingsley schofield stevens and even pickett its no wonder they got beat. the one thing all these players have in common is that they will rarly put their head over the ball and take a tackle or bump in other words their as soft as marshmallows perhaps port should change their name to that every time the heat goes on they get fried. ;D
 
Just come back from a weekend in Adelaide visiting the out-laws. First thing I saw at the airport on Friday was balloons in Ports colours. Most of the out-laws were hoping Port would choke and are now barracking for the Lions in the Grand Final. Funny thing on the radio yesterday were people ringing up saying were the Port players were spending their Mad Monday - the best one was at an ear-nose-throat specialist to see why they choke!
