I think its pretty safe to assume they would carry Lloydy over for AFL emergency?

with Lloyd and Towner likely outs and Butler on limited time,

this will be a bit of a mountain?

Yes hopefully they give Butler the full game to build his match fitness and depending on how he goes he could be a good inclusion for week 2 or 3 of finals.
