No Lamby. It's not law, scandalous or otherwise. It's business. And sport.

In your world you take the coach with the best record for the totality of his career - even if his last premiership was 2005 and his record had got progressively worse ever since. Or you take Brendan Bolton - 5 from 5 with the Hawks last year. In both cases you go backwards. The bookies would love you.

I take the coach on the upswing. Trends. They are important.

You make a Kromulent point. I'd reply (in fact I kinda' did) but there is a humour block in this site.

Thanks Antman but I am referring to a post which had a juxtaposition of Hardwick's coaching record with you going for a fictitious job interview arguing your "the first three years dont count" which has disappeared.

Thought it was harmless enough but not so apparently.

For the record you are a sport yourself!

There is a poster here who repeatedly reports posts to me and makes out they're being stalked and picked on. They don't post any differently them self though. I am absolutely sick of it. If I remove one persons posts ridiculing and baiting others I should remove them all, especially from the who do specialise in personal putdowns, or I get told to read the posting guidelines and stop favouring people. I'd love to show the PMs to show what kind of crap I cop. If he who knows who I am referring to is agreeable I'm happy to post some examples.

I feel for you Rosy, it's all very sad and very very childish. Everyone is entitled to opinions without getting personal. Opinions by definition cannot be wrong! Of course , that's just my opinion :)

Fair enough Rosy.

I have had some posts removed and didn't complain because (a) it might have been warranted and (b) it stops a back & forth from getting out of hand.

I was just very surprised that this post was removed as it basically contained joke scenarios for the point of humour and no personal attack was intended nor do I believe was made.

No worries Lamby. I will send it to ant so he can appreciate it. It wasn't anything personal. As I said I've been being hassled a bit...make that a lot...recently and it was pointed out I favour some posters over others. Maybe you posted it on a bad day but to me removing it was easier than the hassles.

Thanks joe. :)

not sure why anything needs to be public.

I think a poster here is a stalker, end of story.

funny, when a poster asks you to ignore their posts I reckon it's better for everyone to do just that. maybe that's just me.

I certainly understand why you'd be against PMs I've received to be made public. It's why I didn't ask them. I'd thank the person involved to never send me another one.

If posts insult or harass another poster they will be deleted but other than that anyone is welcome to comment on your posts. That is not stalking.

You seem to forget you dish out insults to others and respond to posters as well. You repeatedly post in a condescending way about people who watch the game on telly for example. You say you'll type slowly so a poster can understand. It works both ways.

From the posting guidelines

Messages shouldn’t threaten or humiliate any other person or contain personal insults. 1) There is a zero tolerance policy for flame wars, baiting, and malicious personal attacks on all forums. Such activity will result in posting rights being suspended/banned -- without warning.'

Racist and sexually prejudiced comments aren’t welcome.

Brief replies that add nothing to the discussion but to denigrate or bag a situation/event/player/official/poster, or hijack a discussion will be deleted and the poster banned for repeat offences.

I can understand that, could reflect badly on you. It's clear that Rosy finds this PM campaign unwelcome and offensive. By the way, Rosy and I have disagreed plenty of times and I've been put in the naughty corner too, so don't think that she takes sides - she doesn't. Play by the posting rules and Rosy will leave you alone, don't play by them and you will be warned first and then penalised. I know this first-hand.

I think a poster here is a stalker, end of story.

We really don't have a special relationship, whatever you think. I post my own threads and participate in plenty of others besides yours.

Yes, probably just you. It's a forum. It's public. People read and comment. You can choose to interact or not - up to you.
