Retire / Trade / Delist

Can we safely assume those still uncontracted won’t be resigned until after the trade period and if that?

Stack the big concern.

I always like Caddy in the team. Provides a hardness and toughness around the ball and uses it very well. Very good goal kicker. It’s been a mystery to me what he has done wrong.
Dimma only ever wanted 2 tall forwards, the rest he wanted to be smalls who could crumb and run up and down the field all day.

Through no fault of his own, other than genetics, Caddy is the slowest mid sized player I've seen at Richmond, especially over the first 5 metres, which is crucial for successful midfielders, hence he never got a run in the middle (didn't at Geelong either) and got cast as a wingman once we got Lynch.

He was more than doing his job on the wing in 2019 and won his second flag.

Fast forward to 2020 and early in the season he was getting exposed for pace on the wing big time, and he seemed to slow down even more.

KMac and Pickett were superior in leg speed so as the season progressed they made the wings theirs... VFL have interrupted season.

2021 - Caddy gets thrown around and tried in various spots in the VFL as he has no position in the AFL, VFL have interrupted season.

Has he done something wrong, I don't know but unlikely, is he so slow as a mid-sized player he has no where to hide at AFL level, looks that way to me since early 2020.

Stack was in at the club with Prestia this morning on his Instagram so it's a reasonable bet he gets a contact.

Garth has to be gone surely.

They are probably waiting on Tarrants confirmation of arrival first.

Cumberland, Garthwaite, Nyuon on main list
Miller, Stack, Egg Smith on rookie list

My guess is, we are waiting to see how many picks we are left with before we make the final decisions.

Only 3 spots on the list currently, so will be dependent on how many we want to free up and how many picks we have.

Agree but I can’t see us taking any less than 4 picks in the draft. One more definitely to go.

I think that's right. Can see us manoeuvring out pick 40 for something in 2022 and going to the draft with 5 picks, which will leave 7, 15, 26, 28, 38.

Might spell the end of Garth and Cumberland.
But we might rookie Cumberland.

I want to trade 7 (9), 15 (17), the other pick, and Jayden Short for #1.

Oscar Brownless delisted. Now Billy can also start criticising his club publically.

Dump the youth and recruit the codgers.
