Just a little note about a Coburg senior player, Ben Wilkinson, that seems to have snuck under the PuntRoadEnd radar over the last few weeks. Ben was seriously injured a couple of weeks ago in a game down at Frankston.

Compound fractures in his arm after being thrown into the fence in a tackle that made the Simon Goodwin incident look pretty meek. The worst thing was that the ambulance couldn't get onto the ground and Ben had to be lifted over the fence.

It was pretty ugly stuff.

He won't play footy for at least two years under doctors orders and looks unlikely to play again even after that. Far worse than Dippers knee injury last year.

He wasn't on the Richmond senior or rookie list but played a number of "ones" games at Coburg this year and the last couple of years.

You wanna see his arm - its a bloody mess.

Anyway just filling you in as it seems there's quite a few folks here interested in the progress of Coburg and it's players.
