There was a Cumberland Ralph smith leg entanglement I think but both played out the game. Think Samson took one to the jets crackers in the ruck too but battled on.
I thought Cumberland was good today. I have a little concern with our next tier... I reckon we have a bunch that will play a role at AFL level as they mature, but not seeing the real class. Early season Sonsie showed a lot early, but he's going backwards by the week, Clarke and Banks show a bit in dispatches. Brown has been anonymous. Our prior first round picks, RCD and Dow, just look like they will be fringe AFL players.
Way to early for last year's bunch don't forget Sonsie coming of no pre-season.Dow has shown he is up to it in afl just needs to improve a few things along with Hugo.
Pretty good summary Jack. We can only hope that Clarke, Brown and Banks at least become B+ players at top level otherwise not much coming up. Miller still a shot to make it given his skills, size and other physical attributes.
As Dan the 30man posted, the first year players are running out of puff.
No surprises as they'll need a few preseasons to build the fitness levels to play a full season.
On Sonz he has shown plenty. Not this year but in 2025 he'll be a star
