Under my model, successful clubs normally dominate clubs below 8th.
In the end we lost 3 games to teams below 8th.
I'm forgiving the western Bulldogs ( r7) and saints (r 16) lapses.
The Bulldogs were premiers, finished 10th and saints 11th at Etihad aren't too bad and got us on an off night.
Both losses were a healthy distance apart.
But the third loss im filthy about was Fremantle on the MCG. Week8. We all know what happened.
They finished 5th From the bottom.
If we halved or spoiled that clearance, we finish on top.
But if that scenario was on the cards, Adelaide would have tried harder against WCE last Sunday.
