Welcome to the Tigers Marlion Pickett!

Got better as the game went on.

Now . . . if we can work out how to get him going earlier in games it would be good.

Just goes to show you don't need to be able to competently find a teammate to make an impact :D. Just kidding Marlion. You're a gun mate!

Not sure what some are on about. Thought Marlion was great. Closed down time and space on the wings and the cat's players could hear his footsteps all night long. Some of his contested work and tackling and chase downs were important in the clinches.

Marlion is a funny one. His first disposals are normally ordinary. The more the game goes on the better he becomes psychical and inserts himself. But when the game becomes tough he is bloody on and bloody hard. He is a ferocious tiger. I am so proud of him and his journey. Go t

Marlion is a bit polarising. Essential without the ball (and was specifically mentioned by I think Hodge last night), his kicking at times though is woeful, but his defensive work is so important to us, as we play our wingers defensively enabling our attacking mids (Botlon, Edwards, Prestia, Dusty) to burst through knowing the wingers will cover back for them.

Amazing that a guy can get 2 premierships from only 20 games. What a story for Marlion.

He seems to be a player that needs to warm into a game.

Bit of a second half specialist is Pickett , his finals all were horrid first 1 1/2 quarters then stepped up and lifted noticeably.

Must keep in mind the guy has played only 20 games of which 5 have been finals for 2 flags ha ha ha.

Congratulations Marlion................... his story just grew another chapter, gonna need a re print.

yep, danger thought he was going to run straight through him, but ran into a block of iron, and looked genuinly rattled on the ground for a while after it. it was a thing of beauty

Not just our mids. Allows Houli, Short and Baker to attack as well.

2m45s to go in the third qtr

Yep but missed the chance to clean him up completely. Bumped him in the side, but Danger was completely exposed, perfect chance for some Vlastuin retribution, but I guess the best retribution over Danger is showing him again fail when his team actually needed him.
