Willy up 47-40 @ halftime.

Pickett and Samson still going really well.
RCD and Dow have stepped up.

Parker looks ok but undisciplined, just needs to get on with it.

Naish a 1 trick pony.
Wasn't Parker's fault in that latest turnover free. It was Mansell.

Umpiring is putrid as usual. Naish, Garthwaite, Martyn, Egg, Cumberland and Ross all nothing players. Should be cut.
That Street is a terrible player.
Sampson doing well in the ruck.
Pickett good.
Rioli average.
Like Parker.
Dow's skill level is AFL standard.

Have not seen anything so far to get excited about senior wise.

Seems to be a lot of front on contact from Willy in marking contests, not being paid.
There's been so many you'd almost think they've made it a tactic because the umpires are simply not paying it.

Umpiring at this level is always suspect. It needs to be remembered that whilst many of the players are not AFL level so are the umpires

Some people owe an apology to the observer who said we were a small team, what he meant was we have a few talls all who cannot take a contested mark. Miller, Biggie, Garth, Street not one are an aerial threat.
Please do not say that Naish is a keeper. He is soft as, cannot react under pressure and his disposal is woeful (not just this game). Ditto Eggy but we already know that. these two are keeping us from pressurizing Willy. That said we can still win and our mids are stepping up. Very good game from Samson he is on his own and tries his guts out, hope he can see the game out physically.
Strategically we need to draft in some KPP's who have height (195+) and whose strength is contested marking.

Agree. Our marking is terrible. Could also say the same for the seniors. Cant remember us ever being a good marking team. Biggest worry for mine is the talls. Apart from Sampson we have zero KP players at either end. Needs to be looked at in this years draft
