Tipping competition for the WizzFizz, though I suspect quite a few of us will lose interest rapidly if Richmond happen to lose, ha.
Anybody is welcome to join in. The overseas visitors to our site who don't normally post. Opposition supporters who'd like to win a Richmond prize. ;D

It's been a while since we've won our first pre-season game. In fact I can't remember when we actually did.

2002 - Geelong - Lost
2001 - Hawthorn - Lost
2000 - Kangaroos - Lost (duck eggs in first qtr).
1999 - ?...

One thing for the players to watch out for is not to give away 50's just outside the 50 arc as the recipient gets to have a shot at goal inside the 50 but still worth 9 points.

I heard that if a player takes a mark outside 50 and is awarded a 50 metre penalty because of some further infringement and kicks the goal from 20 metres out it would be given as 9 points.Does the rule also apply in general play where a player is not having a set shot? surely not.

I don't see how this can happen in general play since if you are awarded a 50 then there had to be some initial infringement or a mark which had stopped the play. So I would say no, MY.

Absolutely no idea why I've picked most of them. Pretty much a lottery. Flip a coin and see which way it falls. Even though recent history says we don't win the first game, I have never tipped against Richmond in my life. I'm not gonna start now.
